Open Letter to Arvind Kejriwal

Dear Arvindji,

It was nice to read your mail today morning.

I am very happy that you pointed out a very important point of Gandhiji in your mail "politics devoid of honesty and spirituality is disastrous for the country". Its true that even in India's Golden era, though the kingdom was run by Kings the brain behind them was that of their spiritual leaders. Today, politicians more than often regard the spiritual leaders of this country as " Thugs". Its quite a shameful thing for an Indian to see such kind of disrespect and disregard to holy people. Though however they are, they are holier than us and most certainly than the politicians who name them.

In such regard, i would like to bring into your notice that, India once again should be run by politicians with the support of religious and spiritual leaders of this country. They know what's good and not good for the country. Religion is the law of human society and that's what differentiate a human being from an animal. The break down of King+Spiritual leaders rule have brought about such atrocities in our country and so if all religious leaders decide to help a certain politician to be a PM of India, i wish that you will wholeheartedly support such decision.

More so, in recent times you and Annaji have said that people of India should choose or select their own prime minister. The last time that had happened was in 1984 when Rajiv Gandhi was elected by the people of the country. But since then many regional political parties have born and hence it has become very difficult for any party to have a single majority and thus an Indian cannot choose their Prime Minister candidate. After almost 30 years, if BJP nominates Narendra Modi as its Prime Ministerial candidate, the elections would directly be fought between Rahul Gandhi and Narendra Modi. This is a very rare occasion that an Indian would directly select or choose its own Prime Minister. I know that you have reservations against Narendra Modi, but see the larger picture Sir, we are living in the world which is cynical, politics have become a family business. Here we have an individual who even after being chief minister of a state for more than a decade, has kept his family away from politics, not only that, he has not even let them have any benefits of his power. He may be biased, but to make things happen and to let the system work at a healthy pace, one needs to choose his trusted people rather than keep setting up committee's after committees to know what is good and what is bad and waste crores of money and come up with no logical solution.

I hope that if Narendra Modi happens to be a Prime Ministerial candidate, you and your party will support it, not because he is the best, but because he is the best option that India have right now and have backing from various religious leaders including that from some Muslim clerics which they cannot say in open.

I hope this can help bring back Gandhiji's dream of combining spirituality with politics and i hope you will like to play a big part in it.

Jai Hind.
